
For the on the go audiophile that can’t live without something covering his ears, Sony have just added to their headphones lineage with two new models that include Sony MDR 570LP and Sony MDR 370LP.
Meant for two entirely different target groups, the MDR 570LP is the higher-end model featuring a 30mm Driver Unit, 105 dB/mW sensitivity, a 12 kHz – 22 kHz reproduction bandwidth and a 24 ohm ( at 1kHz ) impedance. Weighing in at 110 grams (~3.88 oz) the new Sony MDR 570LP is mainly targeted at the “grown-up” audience.

On the other side, the new Sony MDR-370LP headphones come with a more youthful colorful design that makes them cool. Featuring 105 dB/mW sensitivity, a slightly lesser reproduction bandwidth of 14kHz – 22kHz and a 24 ohm impedance at 1 kHz, while weighing in at a much lighter 52 grams ( ~1.83 oz ). It is to be released mainly aimed at a younger audience.
There’s no pricing information regarding the new Sony DR-570LP and MDR-370LP headphones, nor a release date.
