It’s been 50 years since the first Mini has been unveiled and the company celebrated the occasion with the unveiling of a new, sporty coupe concept. The newly announced Mini Coupe concept is scheduled for an official unveiling at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September and although it is a typical Mini at heart, the car does have some different and interesting features to get your eye.
The two-seater does away with the four-seat configuration seen in other Minis allowing for more space to the passengers, plus increased luggage space in the trunk. It also comes with a radical side profile, large wheels, sporty rear bumper, and dual center-mounted exhaust pipes along with the aluminum roof is in a “reverse baseball cap” appearance.
As for the interiors, the cabin has leather upholstery, carbon fiber trims and two chronoswiss clocks, one of which is a traditional clock, while the other is a dedicated lap timer.

Power for the car comes from Mini’s top of the line turbocharged 1.6-liter engine that outputs 211hp and 192 lb-ft of torque (where the overboost function can temporarily take the maximum torque to 206 lb-ft when required).

What say you? Charming or not?
