Hitachi Introduces New PDP and LCD TVs for Japan

Hitachi have just added to their PDP lineup with the new Hitachi P-XP035 Series and to their LCD TVs range with the new L-XP35 Series. A top-end device that should be available in 42, 46 and 50-inch sizes, just to name a few of the specs the P-XP035 Plasma TVs boast a huge contrast ratio of 40,000:1, offer Full HD resolutions, feature a built-in 500GB internal hard drive, an iVDR Slot and DLNA Support.
Although it comes with pretty much the same features as the PDP series, the Hitachi L-XP35 PDP models come in 37 and 42-inch screen sizes.
The PDP series will be first to reach the market, and it will start selling in Japan from September 10 with prices varying from 290,000 to 390,000 Yen (some $3100 to $4145 at today’s market rate). As for the LCD range, it will follow the PDPs in October and will sell for a lower price (with the 42-inch LCD screen selling for the same price as the 42-inch PDP) ranging from 240,000 to 290,000 Yen ($2550 to $3100).
Up until now, there’s no official word concerning availability outside Japan!
