It was just last week that we stumbled upon Dell’s first smartphone, the Android-based Mini 3i (MINI3i), today, we managed to get official word the the phone has already been introduced in Beijing with China Mobile getting their hands on it. Running on the Open Mobile System the new Dell Mini 3i is an EDGE-only mobile phone that impresses in the Chinese market even though it doesn’t sport Wi-Fi connectivity.
As previously reported, Dell Mini 3 comes with a 3.5-inch nHD 640×360 LCD (18-bit, 262k colors), features a 3-megapixel camera with auto-focus, flash, 8x digital zoom and 30fps video shooting mode. OTA capable, Mini 3 also sports an on-screen QWERTY keyboard and adds a microSD slot for more storage. There’s also an USB 2.0 slot, Bluetooth 2.0 + EDR support, A-GPS and Microsoft Exchange support with Google, AIM, Yahoo and MSN IM clients.
We don’t have a price for it yet, but we got some pictures to lure you in. It looks sleek, nonetheless.
