Verizon’s upcoming HTC Whitestone has been making the news for some time now, but this time we got our hands on some leaked images. And what you know, along with the Whitestone model, there’s also the new HTC Mega and the Tachi to make the whole picture complete.
First one is HTC Whitestone (also known as Diamond 2 or XV6975), a GSM/CDMA smartphone that runs on a 528MHz Qualcomm 7600 processor with Windows Mobile 6.1 in the back. It features a 3.6-inch WVGA touchscreen display, has 512MB ROM/256MB RAM, a 5-megapixel autofocus camera with Anti-handshaking, aGPS and full GPS. Release date is expected for either September or October this year.

On the other hand, the new HTC Mega is a lower-end device that packs a 2.8-inch QVGA display, runs Windows Mobile 5 (why is it possible on this one but not on the Whitestone, remains a mystery) and has the 528MHz Qualcomm 7225 processor to run the show. It also adds a 3 megapixel camera, a hot new version of TouchFLO 2D and gpsOne. Last one but not the least, HTC Tachi may be intended for the Chinese market, so don’t get your hopes high on that one.
