The Compaq 515 notebook computer features a 14.0-inch diagonal LED-backlit HD BrightView display, 4 GB 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM, ATI Radeon HD 3200 integrated graphics processor, and a choice of AMD Turion X2 Dual-Core Mobile Processor or
AMD Athlon X2 Dual-Core Processor for Notebook PCs. It also comes with your choice of two integrated wireless packages including the Broadcom 802.11a/b/g/draft n and the Broadcom 802.11b/g.
The Compaq 610 notebook computer, a slight step up from the 515, features several upgrades as standard features including a larger 15.6-inch diagonal LED-backlit HD BrightView display, 4 GB of the speedier 800 MHz DDR2 SDRAM, the integrated Mobile Intel Graphics Media Accelerator X3100, and a choice of two faster processors, the Intel Core 2 Duo and the Intel Dual-Core Celeron.
Both machines are Vista-based and offer several OS choices ranging from the Windows Vista 32 for Business to a SUSE Linux Enterprise Desktop 10 configuration.
