When it comes to high-definition interfaces the HDMI offers unparalleled clarity and data transfer speeds. One of the biggest challenges facing consumers now is that with the increasing popularity of this interface and the electronics that use it is how to make sure you have enough HDMI ports into which you can connect them. Most HDTVs come standard with two HDMI inputs, which makes it a challenge when you have a Blu-Ray player, Xbox 360, and high-def cable box. If only someone would come up with a USB-port-like device for HDMI. Well, the folks at Green-House have and their new 3-port HDMI switch, the GH-HSW301, will give you plenty of HDMI to go around.
With the Green-House GH-HSW301 3-port HDMI switch you can enjoy up to 3 additional HDMI sources on your LCD monitor or other high-definition device. This new compact device supports all of the standard HD native resolutions including 480i/p, 720p, 1080i/p video and if that weren’t enough it also offers 2.5Gbps/250MHz bandwidth. If you were wondering how you could switch between the three different inputs, wonder no more. The GH-HSW301 comes with a wireless remote control.
The Green-House GH-HSW301 3-port HDMI switch was announced on the Japanese company’s website without much more information than we’ve already shared with you (this includes no price as of yet). At first blush it seems like it would be a hit with the HD set given how many new devices are coming out every day that could make use of such a thing. Expect availability sometime in mid-August.
