Nikon Coolpix S640, S570 and S70 Compact Cameras Leaked Online

Although the new Nikon Coolpix S1000pj projector camera dominated the camera industry today, there’s more to the whole deal. Apparently Nikon wasn’t over with the announcements as three new compact point and shoot cameras have just been leaked to the market in the form of Nikon S640, Nikon S570 and Nikon S70.
The new Nikon Coolpix S640 comes with a 12.2-megapixel sensor, sports a 2.7-inch display, 5x optical zoom thanks to the 28mm equivalent wide-angle lens, an ultra-fast autofocus system, a start-up time of just 0.7 seconds and built-in quick retouch features. The S640 comes with a $499 price tag attached and should be available in three different colors to suit your preferences.
As for the other two camers, the 12-megapixel Nikon Coolpix S570 will cost $349, while the most advanced of the three — the 12.1-megapixel Coolpix S70, boasts a 3.5-inch OLED touchscreen display, 5x optical zoom and ISO 6400 max sensitivity. Available in red, black, or champagne, the new Nikon S70 will set you back some $599.

No word concerning the release date, but we’re pretty sure Nikon will have them out pretty soon.
