hawking easy-link data sharing hub

If you’ve ever tried to set up your own network so that you can easily share data between more than one computer you know what a massive pain it can be. And with it becoming even more common that households have more than one machine, the ability to move files between them is an important one. Hawking Technologies has announced the availability of their new Easy-Link data sharing cable with integrated three port USB hub to help you share files between two PCs without a network.

The Data Sharing Hub lets users copy files from one PC to another PC at speeds of up to 480Mbps without the installation of any software or drivers. In addition, the Easy-Link Data Sharing Hub features 3 USB ports for extra USB devices such as cameras, keyboards or mice.

This HU2P4 Easy-Link is preinstalled with file exchange software and connects to the USB ports of any two PCs (sorry Mac users, no dice here). When plugged in, the HU2P4 instantly reads files from the two computers and displays them side-by-side. Users can then drag and drop files from one computer to another to begin transferring. In addition, the built-in USB ports allow you to connect and access up to three additional USB devices.

The Hawking USB Easy-Link Data Sharing hub seems to have taken the guesswork out of transferring files between computers. There are no drivers to install and no complicated set-up programs to worry about. You just plug it in and off it goes. The HU2P4 Easy-Link Data Sharing Hub is available through retailers, direct marketers, e-commerce sites, and distribution channels with an MSRP of $29.
