ASUS G60Vx Gaming Laptop Announced [G60VX Reviewed

Gamers who’d much rather stay mobile with a laptop rather than moving wires, ATX cases and monitors, should know that there’s the new ASUS G60Vx gaming laptop to try out. The new G60Vx impresses with its NVIDIA GeForce GTX 260M GDDR3 graphics, the Intel Core 2 Duo T9400 2.53 GHz 1066 MHz processors and the large 16-inch LCD display (16:9, 1366 x 768 resolution).
With up to 4GB of DDR2 RAM memory, two SATA (7,200 rpm) hard drives for a total 640GB, a Blu-Ray drive, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n and Bluetooth connectivity, the new ASUS G60Vx also comes packed with an integrated 2-megapixel webcam, a built-in 8-in-1 card reader and Gigabit Ethernet. There’s also Altec Lansing sound, a backlit keyboard, four port USB 2.0 ports, HDMI, VGA, FireWire, and eSATA connectors along with an ExpressCard slot and an RJ-45 jack.
Although priced close to 1,350 GBP (some $2,225), ASUS G60Vx sports a “stuttery” and “dramatically low” framerate in Crysis, but does pretty well with other demanding games.
