Announced a while ago, Acer’s new Aspire Timeline 1810T ultraportable has just been officially announced today with a European release date attached, saying mid-August. The 11.6-inch CULV notebook (1366 x 768 display) is available for pre-orders on German online store Notebook.de and is going to cost 499 Euro which at today’s rate translates to some $710.
As you probably know, for that price Acer Aspire Timeline 1810T comes packed with an Intel CULV SU3500 1.4GHz processor, 2GB of RAM (of course there’s support for up to 4GB of RAM as first reported), a 250GB SATA hard-drive and Intel’s GMA X4500MHD graphics card. Along there’s a WiFi b/g/n connectivity, Bluetooth 2.0+EDR, an HDMI output, 3G as an option and Vista to operate on.
The whole package weighs in a mere 1.4 kg together with the 6-cell battery that is supposed to be good for up to 8hrs of runtime.
Deliveries are expected in a couple of weeks so if you’re from Europe and it appeals … go for it!
