Garmin-Asus Nuvifone G60 Starts Selling This Month

Back in February the Garmin-Asus Nuvifone G60 was only a solid promise and nothing more, but today we caught wind that the device is slated for release from July 27 in Taiwan. Next to get their hands on the new G60 are Singapore and Malaysia by the end of August, while Europe and the United States are “on schedule” for the second half of the year — which probably translates to end of the year, just in time for the holidays?
Just in case you forgot, the HSDPA/3G Linux powered Garmin-Asus Nuvifone G60 cell phone features a 3.5-inch touchscreen display, integrated accelerometer Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, and a 3 megapixel camera pre-loaded with regional maps and a location-based social tool, Ciao!
But if Linux is not your thing and you’d much rather get your hands on the Windows Mobile Garmin-Asus Nuvifone M20 it should be avaialbe in Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand and Malaysia this August, with a European release date set for the second half of the year. Too bad the M20 will not make it to the States …
