Panasonic Adding Three New Lumix Camera Models

Panasonic have just added to their LUMIX lineup with three new 12.1 megapixel cameras that have an eye for stylish design and functionality. We’re talking about the new Panasonic Lumix FZ35, the Lumix FP8 and the mid-range Lumix ZR1 — with all three packing an optical image stabilization and face-recognition, yet coming with very different specs.
Among the three, Panasonic LUMIX FZ35 is the “superzoomer”. Beyond the consumer camera, the FZ35 comes with a 27mm wide-angle LEICA DC lens that offers 18x zoom and HD video recording together with a Creative Movie Mode with shutter speed and aperture settings. Second in class, the new Panasonic Lumix FP8 features a 28mm wide-angle lens, 4.6x optical zoom and HD video capture. Lastly, the new Lumix ZR1 features the “world’s first 0.3mm thin aspherical lens” and sports a full 8x optical zoom.
Priced at $400, $300 and $280 respectively, all three models are going to be available starting this September.
