Cambrionix V3 49-Port USB Hub

Professional-Grade USB 2.0 Hub With 49 Inputs

Cambrionix V3 49-port USB hub

We have all seen the expandable USB hubs that are currently on the market. They allow you to string together as many as you need to increase the number of USB devices that you can attach to your computer (or each other). As far as USB hubs are concerned they don’t get much more insane than the new 49-port V3 from UK-based Cambrionix.

If you are looking for the ultimate in USB connectivity with a professional-grade attitude the 49-port USB hub called the V3 is certainly the gadget for you. With this product you are pretty much guaranteed to never want for another USB port again. While it’s clear that the V3 was not designed for the average consumer (think quality testing of multiple USB devices) it would seem that the press that Cambrionix has received as of late has caused them to open its availability to the general public.

Each port of the Cambrionix V3 is supplied with 500mA of power and it has a single connector to hook it up to the host machine. The board measures 270 x 221 x 15-mm without the optional front and back protection plates. For the average home user and super geek it just might not be that cost-effective, but it certainly would look cool on your desk or mounted on the wall, wouldn’t it? Cambrionix is asking 399GBP plus VAT ($657) for the new V3 and you’ll also need a separate 5V or ATX power source. Find out more by visiting www.cambrionix.com.
