After impressing us with their FinePix Real 3D W1 camera, Fujifilm also found time to introduce five new entry- and mid-level point-and-shoots along with the “prosumer” DSLR-lite FinePix S200EXR Camera. Speaking about Fuji FinePix S200 EXR, the SLR-type camera is packed with a bunch of features and is aimed at the top end camera enthusiast. It boasts a 2.7″ high contrast 230k-pixel LCD, a 12-megapixel CCD sensor, 14.3x Fujinon optical zoom lens (30.5mm-436mm equivalent) and CCD-RAW (EXR)/JPEG shooting.
Priced at $600, Fuji FinePix S200EXR also comes with dual image stabilization, a new “super inteligent flash” and three switchable modes in one sensor — High Resolution (HR) Mode, Wide Dynamic Range (DR) Mode and High Sensitivity and Low Noise (SN) Mode — to push picture quality to new levels as they say.
Along with the S200EXR, Fuji also introduced three new entry-level cameras, the A170, the 12MP A220 and the 12.2MP FinePix J38 for $90, $100 and $130, respectively, while the mid-level lineup gets the new FinePix F70EXR at $280 and the new FinePix Z37 at $150.
