Averatec 22-inch D1005 all-in-one (AIO) PC

There’s a saying that if you find a good wave you have to ride it, and we’re talking about the all-in-one PC hype that has been created this year. Another company to take advantage of market conditions and trends these days, Averatec (TriGem USA) have just announced their stylish 22-inch D1005 all-in-one (AIO) computer.
A medium speced rig, the new Averatec D1005 runs on a 2.5GHz Core 2 Duo E5200 processor (a bit old but still gets the job done), features a 22-inch WXGA display and an X4500 HD graphics card that plays video at true 1080p resolution, has 3GB of DDR2 RAM, a 320GB SATA hard drive, slot-loading DVD burner, 802.11n Wi-Fi connectivity, gigabit Ethernet and a 2 megapixel webcam.
However the most interesting thing is the space-saving feature and the fact that the new Averatec D1005 has been designed with the college student in mind. It’s true that in a dorm with 3 other guys it’s pretty neat to have a fully functional PC that won’t clog the space even more.
Available at BestBuy, TigerDirect, Newegg and Onsale, the new Averatec D1005 will cost you nothing less than $799.
