T-Mobile's Samsung Highlight Budget Touchscreen Mobile

It’s not like Samsung is creating boring mobiles that teens keep away from, but the cutely designed Samsung Highlight has been definitely crafted with the young in mind. A mid-range handset that will become available in T-Mobile’s yard this month, the tiny new Samsung Highlight features a capacitive 1.61- x 2.64-inch touchscreen display, a 3 megapixel camera with video recording and the company’s TouchWiz UI with live widgets that update automatically – like weather and Facebook.
As you’d expect Samsung’s Highligh boasts a media player for AAC, MP3 and WMA media files, features a microSDHC slot (located underneath the battery, just like the SIM card — hate it) that accepts 16GB memory cards, 3G support on T-Mobile’s network and assisted GPS with TeleNav support so that you won’t get yourself lost while wandering the streets.
The new T-Mobile Samsung Highlight should be available in two colors, Fire (orange) and Ice (teal) for $150 when linked to a two-year contract, a rebate and a data plan.
