Although Sony Ericsson should probably focus their efforts on the new Rachael, the Swedes have just upgraded a couple of their older phones — the new Sony Ericsson C905a Cyber-shot and the new Sony Ericsson W518a Walkman — for an AT&T debut sometime this week.

An interesting addition, Sony Ericsson C905a Cyber-shot packs the most advanced camera AT&T ever got. We’re talking about a sharp nearly professional 8.1 megapixel camera that comes with face detection technology, image stabilization, AutoFocus, Xenon flash and GPS-based geotagging. Other than that, the C905a comes with Wi-Fi, A-GPS, 3G support, Bluetooth with A2DP, TV out and a Memory Stick Micro slot to carry up to 16GB of your media files.

On the other hand, the extra-thin Sony Ericsson W518a Walkman features a 3.2 megapixel camera, also has 3G support and GPS, includes a Facebook application and Shake Control technology. As a Walkman mobile phone it also allows for OTA music downloads from Napster and eMusic via AT&T Music.

Both the new C905a and the new W518a will be available on contract with AT&T starting July 18th at $180 for the Cyber-shot model and $50 for the music lover (after a $50 mail-in rebate).
