Not exactly the next gadget you’ll bring home given its hefty price, but Zenith’s new Defy Xtreme Tourbillon Zero-G chronograph is all about creative watchmaking and deserves being featured in here. Part of the new DEFY XTREME 2009 collection, this exotic chronograph can handle extreme gravity conditions (the worse you can imagine) thanks to a tourbillon carriage that has been bundled within a free-moving gyroscopic-styled housing. That and of course the bunch of conical shaped regulator gears that allow the movement to always point down no matter how you have your hand positioned.

Modeled after the famous Stealth Bomber, the blackened titanium Zero-G Defy Xtreme Zero-G watch boasts a multi-layered dial clad in Hesalite glass with carbon fiber inserts and aluminum beneath two sapphire glasses, comes with a protected crown, a helium valveti and a tanium strap with Kevlar inserts.

Swiss at heart and with so much innovation under the stylish hood, the limited edition Zenith Defy Xtreme Tourbillon Zero-G Chronograph is only meant for the filthy rich who can afford a price tag North of $500,000. Mind-blowing, but at least we can dream …
