Samsung SyncMaster 80 Series LCD monitors

Samsung have just unveiled two new SyncMaster 80 Series LCD monitors in Korea — Samsung SyncMaster F2080 and Samsung SyncMaster F2380, that are meant to compete with Dell’s UltraSharp series. Mounted on a convenient 5.1-inch LCD telescoping stand that allows flipping and rotating, both models feature what the company calls the world’s highest dynamic contrast ratio (150,000:1) for a conventionally-lit computer display.
The new SyncMaster 80 Series are available in 20-inch (F2080) or 23-inch (F2380) models, feature a real 3,000:1 contrast ratio, 178-degree viewing angle, narrow 15-mm bezel, and cover nearly 100% of the RGB color space, making for a professional display ideal for image editing work.
Priced close to $300 for the Samsung SyncMaster F2080 monitor and $350 for the Samsung SyncMaster F2380, they’re part of the company’s high-end professional LCD, yet still on the affordable side. Both models are rumored to sell starting September 14th, so if you have the green stuff it may be well worth the waiting.
