Talented artists Jonathan Schipper and Amelia Biewald have joined forces to come up with one of the coolest things to adore your iPhone with, the handcrafted solid metal EXOvault iPhone case. Made from solid aluminum, brass or titanium, the EXOvault iPhone case keeps away from the common plastics we see popping each day on the market, and charms with the unique steampunk look that it lends to the stylish handset.
Although we love the whole design that turns your iPhone into an unique iBrick that gets into your eyes, the new EXOvault iPhone case may have a big drawback – the fact that it’s made from metal could destroy reception. I mean that’s the reason why manufacturers these days keep away from metal cases so that 3G and GPS radios to “break” through. However we’d like to believe that Schipper and Biewald have used paramagnetic metal that won’t affect the aforementioned issues, but since details are scarce we can only speculate.
So far what we know for sure is that the metalic EXOvault iPhone Case sells for $95 and $300 if you’re after the titanium version.
