ASUS Introduces T1 Series HDTVs With Built-in TV Tuners [ASUS 22T1E, 24T1E and 27T1E Monitors]

In a recent press release, ASUS have just taken the wraps off the TV Monitor T1 Series, a hybrid range of LCD TVs and monitors that brings HDTV broadcasting along with Full HD Blu-ray Disc playback. Available in 22-, 24- and 27-inch versions, they all offer 1080p resolutions (1980×1080) and thanks to the built-in TV tuner can decode DVB-T or Pal/Secam — which is why they’re suited in particular for Asian countries and Europe .

As you’d probably expect, the new T1 widescreen monitors boast a 20,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio for crisper, more realistic pictures, come with a 5ms response time, 300cd/m2 brightness, have two 7 Watt speakers and feature the Splendid Video Intelligence Technology that allows it to adjust itself for best viewing experience. Connectivity wise, there are two HDMI ports, two SCART, VGA, Composite, Components, S-Video, 3.5mm audio in+out and S-PDIF outputs.

There’s no word when ASUS 22T1E, ASUS 24T1E and ASUS 27T1E are going to be available on the market or at what price, but we may not have to wait that much.
