Orange Toshiba TG01 Release Confirmed in UK [Snapdragon Powered TG01 Gets Orange UK Launch]

Orange UK have managed to secure an exclusive deal with Toshiba to offer one of the most powerful and feature-rich mobile entertainment device – the new Toshiba TG01. Featuring the widest (4.1-inch) high-definition touch-screen available on a mobile, British customers will get their hands on the TG01 right this weekend on July 10th – which is tomorrow!

The first mobile phone to be powered by Qualcomm’s 1GHz Snapdragon processor, the upcoming TG01 is expected to run on Windows Mobile 6.5 with an Orange-customized version of Toshiba’s own UI, has an 8GB microSD card, WiFi b/g, Bluetooth 2.0 and GPS. And to make the whole deal even better, it should pre-load and exclusive film trailer for the forthcoming summer blockbuster “GI Joe”.

Toshiba TG01 will be available on Orange UK for free on a 39.15 GBP 24-month contract that brings you unlimited on-device browsing.

Next markets to get their holds on the TG01 are Switzerland, Romania and Poland.
