MSI have launched their up and coming 14″ MSI EX460 notebook which they bill as serving as a ‘one stop shop for work and play’ and whose minimalist style should appeal to ‘business users wanting a notebook with style but not opulence’.

Coming with an Intel Core 2 Duo CPU under the hood, the MSI EX460 comes with ATi Mobility Radeon HD 4330 graphics with 512MB DDR2 memory powering a 14″ HD Ready 16:9 aspect ratio 1366 x 768 LED backlit display, 4GB RAM, a hard disk offering either 250GB, 320GB or 500GB capacity, an inbuilt 1.3 megapixel webcam, 10/100 LAN and 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, a 4-in-1 memory card reader and integrated stereo speakers whilst there’s also Bluetooth connectivity of offer as an optional extra.

In terms of the keyboard, the MSI EX460 utilises MSI’s unique EDS design that’s described as ‘a unique curved surface and membrane to construct ergonomic keyboard keys’ which results in keys that, according to MSI’s press release, are 51% larger than those of conventional keyboard layouts which should, they say, reduce fatigue whilst typing.
