LG have detailed a new, up and coming QWERTY phone, the LG GW300, which, on first inspection, may look like a smartphone but, in fact, is very much a budget QWERTY phone aimed specifically at those looking for a Facebook, messaging and email friendly device.
Coming with integrated Facebook and email clients the LG GW300 is a GSM, GPRS/EDGE phone (no 3G here) that sports a 2.4″ 240 x 320 QVGA display, built-in MP3 player, stereo Bluetooth and USB support and, yes, it appears to be aimed specifically at the youth market and we suspect that it’ll thrive. For those looking for a broad feature-set, however, as much as it may look as though it’ll deliver based on its appearance, there’s really nothing here to get even vaguely excited about. The GW300 is a budget QWERTY handset, period.
LG are yet to announce either the GW300′s availability or pricing details but we expect it’ll be offered for free on a contractual basis.

Well my friend came into school with this phone and i thought omg thats really nice, i want one! But i asked her the name of the phone and she looked ashamed to say, so she said “oh some LG QWERTY Keypad one, cost me quite a bit” & i was quite jealous, but she would never let me look at her phone, so i thought she must be ashamed in it. I then looked here and saw it was a BUDGET phone – so obvs its shit. Well all im gonna say is SHAME TO YOOOU!! IM GETTING THE NEWEST QWERTY BLACKBERRY :P Suck on that you lot! :P
I have the new blackberry and this phone, but the blackberry is a lot better than this.
But it’s decent for people who want a phone similiar to the blackberry.
It’s harder to use but it has good features.
even though it’s quite a good price the normally blackberry costs over £300, and so this LG is a lot better and it is shite but you know for somepeople its good.
