Oregon Scientific have released their latest weather station, the +ECO Clima Control, which offers a ‘greener way’ to familiarise yourself with prevailing weather conditions thanks to being powered by an integrated solar panel.

Available in the US as of now, the Oregon Scientific +ECO Clima Control Weather Station is a particularly un-fussy weather station that would look equally at home in the office as it would the kitchen and is Oregon Scientific’s first weather stations that offers solar powered weather monitoring – thus meaning it wont cost you a dime to run it.

Capable of monitoring the prevailing weather conditions based on temperature and humidity from up to four separate locations courtesy of wireless remote sensors (two of which you’ll find bundled with the device whilst additional sensors can be ordered separately) the Oregon Scientific +ECO Clima Control Weather Station also offers clock (radio controlled) and calendar functionality and if you find that the sun’s not in evidence, it’ll also run from mains power if required.

Coming with backlit LCD display the Oregon Scientific +ECO Clima Control Weather Station can be purchased now for just shy of $120.
