iPhone 3GS Microphone Capsule

Having only yesterday posted concerning the curious (and somewhat laudable) ZGrip iPhone Pro handgrip for the iPhone 3GS and subsequent to posting about other iPone/iPod microphones – such as the SwitchEasy TumbTack microphone and the USB Fever Mini Mic – along comes another external iPhone microphone, specifically billed for use with the 3GS, in the form of this Flexible Mini Capsule Microphone.

Touted as offering 10 times better audio reception than the iPhone 3GS’s internal mic, the Flexible Mini Capsule Microphone is being aimed specifically at those using their new iPhone’s to record video clips for YouTube and the like and, thanks to being flexible, can be positioned to ‘retrieve sound from any direction’ – thus allowing the device to focus on the sound source.
Billed as offering a gain of around 25dB over the iPhone 3GS’s integrated mic, the Flexible Mini Capsule Microphone also (obviously) works with other iPhone iterations as well as Apple iPods such as the iPod Touch and Nano 4G and can be yours for a mere $14.
