Audio-Technica ANC7b Headphones

Audio-Technica have officially launched their latest QuietPoint active noise cancelling cans, known as the Audio-Technica ATH-ANC7b headphones, which, whilst offering the same degree of noise cancelling as the previous iterations (85%) come with a revised design offering better comfort as well as improved sound quality.
Billed as being ‘ideal for use with the Apple iPod, iPhone and iPod Touch portable music and DVD players, laptop computers, in-flight entertainment systems and other devices’ (which just about has all bases covered), the Audio-Technica ATH-ANC7b headphones come with large-aperture 40 mm drivers capable of delivering 10 – 25,000 Hz frequency response with 109 dB sensitivity as well as offering the ability to function with the integrated QuietPoint noise cancelling circuitry either on or off (the latter acting to conserve battery life).
Coming with two 1.6 m (5.2′) and 1.0 m (3.3′) detachable cables, a 1/4″ adapter, an airline adapter and a hard carry case the Audio-Technica ATH-ANC7b Headphones are set to begin shipping from August and will sell for just short of $220.
