Sirius XM iPhone/iPod Touch App Attained 1 Million Downloads [Sirius XM App Top Free Music App]

Back on 17^th June we gave you a brief heads up concerning the then up and coming Sirius XM iPhone/iPod Touch App which we followed one day later with the news that the free Sirius XM had become available and now, less than a month later, its been confirmed that the Sirius XM iPhone/iPod Touch App – which is presently top in the free music apps chart – has gained over one million downloads already.

We cannot say that we’re surprised – after all who in their right mind who isn’t already into Sirius XM would deny themselves the ability to gain access to a20 channels of Sirius XM programming on their iPhone and and/or iPod Touch? What is interesting, however, is that, though the app is indeed free the service, once a free 7 day trail runs out, is subscription based so its not as if the app in question gives access to a free service. Seen in that context, especially, one million downloads of their iPhone/iPod Touch app is pretty damn impressive in anyone’s book.
