Samsung SyncMaster XL2370 Full HD Monitor [23″ XL2370 1080p LED Monitor

Samsung have unveiled what they claim to be their ‘highest performing monitor’ in the form of the new 23″ Samsung SyncMaster XL2370 LED monitor which joins their Touch of Color (ToC) range and which, part from sporting a ‘finger slim design’ boasts 40% reduced power consumption than is typical of monitors of its size.

Constructed without the use of toxic materials such as mercury and halogen or harmful pains and sprays, making it especially recycle friendly, the Samsung SyncMaster XL2370 offers up Full HD (1080p) resolution, a response time of a mere 2ms and a reported dynamic contrast ratio topping out at 5,000,000:1.

“We expect the XL2370 will open a new era of the LED monitor market,” said JaeYoung Lew of Samsung Electronics’ Visual Display Division. “Samsung will pave the way in the LED monitor market with beautiful design and superb functionality, while responding to the market needs for eco-friendly technology.”

There’s no word from Samsung concerning their Samsung SyncMaster XL2370 full HD monitor’s pricing, however, Samsung have confirmed that the XL2370 will se an initial release in Korea with a European release following in August.
