
Samsung’s first Android powered phone, the Samsung i7500 Galaxy, is set to become available from August via the O2 network, reports coming in today have confirmed, though its not known at this juncture whether O2 will exclusively carry the i7500 Galaxy or whether other UK networks will also be offering the handset (certainly, to date, no other UK network have confirmed that they’ll be carrying it).

There’s no word from O2 as at the time of writing concerning pricing, but O2 have confirmed that the Samsung i7500 Galaxy will only be available on contract. What is known is that the Samsung i7500 Galaxy is being offered SIM-free on a number of sites for around the 500GBP price point (which, all said and done, doesn’t help us narrow in on expected O2 pricing in the least).
