ASUS Unveils New ROG Crosshair III Formula Motherboard

ASUS have just added to their amazing range of motherboards with the extremely powerful ROG (Republic of Gamers) Crosshair III Formula motherboard. Using the AMD AM3 socket platform, the new Crosshair III Formula is hailed as the most suited motherboard to unleash the full potential (overclocking potential that is) of the AMD Phenom II processors.
Together with CPU Level Up real-time overclocking (we’d love to tweak some things up) and boasting a SupremeFX X-Fi sound card, the ROG Crosshair III Formula motherboard features MemOK! — a memory rescue tool that easily detects and solves any memory issues by automatically loading failsafe settings in the event of a boot failure, and is ATI CrossFireX compatible.

Other than all these the board packs five SATA-II 3.0Gbps, one eSATA and one UltraDMA 133, gigabit LAN, four DDR3 1600 channels supporting up to 16GB, dual firewire and 12 USB 2.0 connections.
Although the new ROG Crosshair III Formula motherboard seems to deliver extreme levels of performance, word is that it’s meant for the budget-conscious gamer. Rumors have it that it should cost close 200 Euro (some $280 at today’s rate).
