Vobis Computer HIGHSCREEN PP5420 Android Phone

Thanks to the open-source nature of the Android operating system, it’s only natural to see more and more handsets being released to the market. Same goes for the Russians from Vobis Computer who have just introduced their new HIGHSCREEN PP5420 (also known as the Mobinova Ice — sans the Windows Mobile OS).
The new HIGHSCREEN PP5420 is a dual-touchscreen Android mobile phone that runs Google Android OS 1.5 and features a 3-inch WQVGA flat TFT-LCD touchscreen display. It’s expected to come with a 3 megapixel autofocus camera (with dedicated shutter control), will push Bluetoth 2.0+EDR, Wi-Fi, UMTS/HSDPA, aGPS, FM Radio and an accelerometer.
Other than the above, the HIGHSCREEN PP5420 also sports a Qualcomm 528MHz MSM7201ATM processor, packs 256MB ROM and 128MB RAM, has TV-output, a mini USB connector and microSD card slot.
Vobis Computer may not sell it in Europe any time soon, but in Russia the new HIGHSCREEN PP5420 Android Phone is slated for a release next week with a 360 Euro (some $510 at today’s rate) price tag.
