Samsung SCH-W760 With Night Vision Camera Announced in Korea

Although it looks like a pretty typical slider for Korea, the new Samsung SCH-W760 impresses with a very interesting feature — the new SCH-W760 is the first mobile phone to pack a night vision camera sensitive to infrared spectrum, capable of recording grayscale video calls even when it’s completely dark. Naughty … eh?
Other than the special 3 megapixel camera, the new Samsung SCH-W760 boasts a 2.8-inch AMOLED display with 240 x 400 resolution, 8GB of internal memory and a microSD memory card slot if that’s not enough. Specially designed for the Korean market to support 7.2Mbps on 3G networks, the phone allows watching S-DMB TV programming, features DMB reception and Bluetooth connectivity.
Available for some $460 in Korea, there’s no word so far if the new Samsung SCH-W760 will see daylight on other markets, too.
