Mio have followed up from their Moove V500 & Moov V700 digital TV enabled portable navigation devices with the launch of two new UK specific Navman series digital TV PNDs – namely the Mio Navman Spirit V505 TV and the Navman Spirit V735 TV.

The new Navman PNDs, apart from boasting freeview digital TV tuners with auto tuning and 7 day EPGs, come with 4.5″ and 7″ widescreen touchscreen displays and, to underpin their entertainment credentials, additionally come with integrated FM tuners and PMP capabilities taking in video and digital audio (mP3) playback as well as offering digiframe functionality allowing the devices to serve as portable digital photo albums.

Of course, on and above their multimedia capabilities, both the Mio Navman Spirit V505 TV and the Navman Spirit V735 TV, which are powered by 600MHz SiRFprima CPUs, offer everything you’d expect from a PND including text to speech, TruMap views with speed warnings, Lane Guidance and junction Views as well as Google Maps integration and access to NavPix and Flickr geo-tagged photos.
