Asus Eee PC T91 Release Delayed

We have covered the Asus Eee PC T91 reasonably extensively (particularly the Eee PC T91′s release date – see: Asus Eee PC T91 UK Release Date Confirmed and Asus Eee PC T91 Netbook US Release Confirmed) but now it seems that its distribution is being delayed due to what Asus cite as a ‘logistical mishap’ which is apparently now resolved.
Asus offer no particular specifics concerning what caused the ‘logistical mishap’ but speculation is mounting with sites even concluding that the delay may actually be occasioned by other more serious issues such as ‘structural concerns’ (thus the ‘logistical mishap’ serving as a cover whilst such issues are resolved).
We shall not speculate either ways as we have seen nothing that would indicate that the cited ‘logistical mishap’ is anything more than an apparent balls up in the supply chain someplace as the phrase would denote and besides, Asus are stating that the issue is now resolved and that the Eee PC T91 should hit on or around 22nd June.
Of course, if this transpires not to be the case, we’ll happily join in the speculation as an apparent resolved issue is no longer an issue, right?

Why does everyone talk about what ASUS is saying when I can’t see anything on their website about what ASUS is saying with regard to this delay?
I’m assuming that as the problem is apparently over Asus do not see the need to make an official statement on their site.
