If you’re waiting to upgrade your iPhone OS to iPhone OS 3.0 and/or you’re anxiously awaiting getting your hands on the newly announced iPhone 3G S but you’re concerned about how to go about jailbreaking the new iPhone OS then you’ll be pleased to know that the iPhone Dev Team already have OS 3.0 beaten thanks to their Ultrasn0w software jailbreak.
Following on from the iPhone Dev Team’s original yellosn0w software jailbreak, the Ultrasn0w software jailbreak’s release will be back until the release of the iPhone 3G S this Friday as, understandably, they are aware that Apple’s bods will be looking to address the weakness found in their new OS and, its reported, to allow the team to look to adapt their Ultrasn0w software jailbreak for use with Apples latest iteration of the iPhone so if you’re anxious to get your hands on Ultrasn0w you’ll need to be patient. But it is, at least, reassuring that the new OS has already been jailbroken unless, of course, you happen to be Apple who are doubtless investigating the weakeness in the new iPhone OS that’s been exploited.
We’ll update you the moment the Ultrasn0w software jailbreak becomes available, naturally, but, in the meantime, you can follow developments here.
