Cideko Air Keyboard Works as 3D Mouse or Remote Control

The folks over at Cideko have just introduced their new Wireless media keyboard that doubles up as a 3D mouse as well as a remote control. Dubbed the Cideko Air Keyboard it features a full QWERTY keypad, has a pair of gamepad-style shoulder buttons, dedicated media control buttons, an effective range of up to 50 m and if the specs are right, should last more than 50 hours on those 2 AA batteries that powers it up.
However the most interesting feature of the new Cideko Air Keyboard is the way it manages to integrate the mouse and the remote at the same time. And although some would consider it an useless addition if you’re looking for amazing typewriting (those keys look a bit odd) the keyboard seems perfect for couch surfing with all those home theater controls.
Recently shown off at Computex in Taiwan, we don’t have a release date or a price yet, but we do hope that Cideko won’t take too long before hitting the stores with it.

WARNING!! Sent this to Cideko concerning issue with the Air Keyboard;
“I recently bought the cideko air keyboard and have to inform you that there is a bug present with your product. When switching left button click to the right button, the cideko randomly makes double button clicks! This does not however happen when the left button is used as a left button. Therefore, this looks as if it’s a driver issue. I have tested this on several cideko’s.”
