Sprint BlackBerry Tour 9630 Release Confirmed [Tour 9630 Pricing & Availability]

Having brought you the specifications of the new BlackBerry Tour 9630 smartphone ahead of any official announcement (thanks to a leak) – see: Blackberry Tour 9630 Specifications & Features [Tour 9630 Spec/Details Leaked] – we can now confirm that Sprint have just confirmed (unsurprisingly) that they’ll offer the Tour 9630 ‘later this summer’.

Though no exact date of availability has been offered, Sprint have at least confirmed the BlackBerry Tour 9630’s pricing – which comes in at just shy of $200 based on a two year contract and subsequent to rebates totalling some $150.

Of course Verizon Wireless have already confirmed that they too will carry the Tour 9630 (marginally getting the jump on Sprint), however, as at the time of writing Verizon are yet to confirm either a date (or period) of availability or their particular pricing details – though with Sprint’s pricing now known we await these details with interest.
