Softbank Announces Panasonic 931P Clamshell Phone [8.1 Megapixel Camera Phone With Built-in 1Seg Tuner]

Just a few more weeks before its debut on Softbank, the new Panasonic 931P has been officially announced. It’s a clamshell mobile phone with a dual-hinge design that allows for both vertical and horizontal flipping, packs an 8.1 Megapixel camera with max ISO 1600, LED flash and face recognition, and also boasts a 3.1-inch LCD display (480 x 584 pixels) with Viera technology and a 10,000:1 contrast ratio.

As you can see, the new Softbank Panasonic 931P also features a 2-inch QVGA external display, while under its stylish wraps there’s room for a built-in 1Seg tuner, GPS, a microSDHC card slot for up to 16GB of extra memory and Bluetooth. Wth HSDPA 7.2 Mbps support, a powerful battery good for 650 hours in stand-by mode and 220 minutes of continuous talk (3G), the new 931P measures 50 x 108 x 18.5mm, weighs 128g and should be available in black, white and pink.
