Samsung R720 Notebook With 17.3-inch Display

Samsung have added added to their R-series range with the new Samsung R720 notebook. Designed for the avid multimedia user, the new Samsung R720 combines some of the most powerful HD graphic cards in a laptop these days along with a 3D Sound Retrieval System (SRS) for an enhanced 5.1 surround effect.
Powered by Intel Centrino 2 processors and featuring the new ATI Mobility Radeon HD4650 graphics card (512MB/1GB), Samsung R720 comes with a 17.3-inch LED display with SuperBright Gloss and 16:9 aspect ratio. A solid addition to the laptop pudding, the new R720 is supposed to offer a richer, deeper audio experience thanks to its 4-watt stereo speakers and the dedicated subwoofer.
There’s also a 17-key full-sized numeric keypad, an anti-bacterial keyboard and 6 USB ports — one which is chargeable and another in combo with eSATA. Running on Windows Vista Home Premium as , the new Samsung R720 notebook is expected to hit the shelves in July for something just shy of 599 GBP (something close to $1,000 at today’s rate).
