On the sport tip since the early 30s, Swiss watch brand Alpina have just announced that they’ll add four new vividly colored models to their Alpina Extreme Divers 1000 watches series. An exquisite timepiece meant to dig the depths of the oceans in style, the new Extreme Divers 1000 features a large 48mm case clad in stainless steel, a sapphire crystal display with black dial highlights needles, luminescent white Arabic numerals and a black PVD coating finish.
Part of the company’s new 2009 Spring / Summer collection meant for diving aficionados, the Extreme Drivers 1000 Meters watches also feature an unidirectional rotating bezel with an immersion indicator, a helium release valve and a power reserve of 42 hours.
Water resistant to 1000 meters and available in Yellowtail, Orange Sunset, Cote d’Azur and Black Ocean finishings, the new Extreme Drivers 1000 come with a rubber bracelet and should cost close to 1 800 Euro (or 2100 Euro for the full black version). A superbly finished watch with a distinctive design, it certainly got us sold in here …
