Back in January we offered you a heads up concerning the ultra slim MSI X-Slim X320 notebook which is billed as being ‘the world’s lightest and slimmest 13-inch notebook’ which we then followed up by confirming the X-Slim X320’s pricing and now, by way of yet another follow up, we can confirm that the MSI X-Slim X320 notebook (specifically the X320-037US) has started to ship in the US.

The MSI X-Slim X320-037US notebook, which offers up a 13″ 16:9 aspect ratio 1366 x 768 backlit LED display and which is based on the Intel Menlow US15W chipset, is powered by a 1.6GHz Intel Atom Z530 CPU and comes with 2GB RAM, a 250GB hard disk, integrated GMA 500 graphics and, whilst coming in at between an impressive 6mm-20mm in thickness, this comes at a cost as the X320-037US comes sans optical drive.
Additionally the MSI X-Slim X320-037US notebook features a 1.3 megapixel webcam and built-in stereo speakers whilst, in terms of connectivity, it certainly isn’t found wanting what with 802.11n Wi-Fi wireless connectivity paired with Ethernet LAN, three USB 2.0 ports, VGA out and 2-in-1 card reader.
If you’re looking to avail yourself of the MSI X-Slim X320-037US notebook in the US you’ll need to set around $600 aside whilst moving pronto as we suspect that these will fly off the shelves like the proverbial hot cakes.
