Apple, in their infinite wisdom (flawed as it is, certainly in this respect) chose not to integrate a microphone into their iPod Touch or iPod Nano but, if you’re looking to gain audio recording capabilities for said devices, the SwitchEasy ThumbTacks mini microphone will, doubtless, be the answer to your prayers – especially if you’ve downloaded the Skype Application for use with (speficically) your iPod Touch.
Billed as working specifically with Apple’s iPod Nano 4G and/or the iPod Touch 2G, the SwitchEasy ThumbTacks iPod Touch/iPod Nano Microphone (which purportedly also works with the 120GB iPod Classic) sports a push pin inspired design making it a seriously compact mini mic offering ‘outstanding quality’ sound recording capabilities – thanks, in part to gold-plated 3.5mm jack.
