Chairman Mao Laptop Cooling Pad

Obligatory in China, Probably

Whilst one gets used to walking somewhat on the wild-side when perusing Chinavasion’s new products page we must confess to doing a double take when we came across this officially sanctioned (we jest not) Chairman Mao Laptop Cooling Pad.

Known officially as the ‘Chairman Edition Laptop Cooling Pad with Mao’s Calligraphy’ this de rigor laptop/notebook cooling accessory comes complete with a poem composed by the Chairman himself inscribed on its upper surface and boasts sturdy aluminium construction paired with dual low power cooling fans that draw power from your laptop/notebook’s USB port.

Described as offering ‘outstanding craftsmanship, beautiful design, and revolutionary zeal’? – i.e., probably heats up your laptop if it detects its being used in the West – can be yours for a mere $9.11 or cheaper if you buy in bulk (yes, there’s an all too obvious joke there, but we’ll pass).

Next month we look forward to the Gordon Brown Cooling Pad – looks terrible, decides not to cool your laptop regardless (as it apparently knows better) and refuses to fit into the waste bin when you try to dispose of it. Can’t wait.
