toshiba-mini-nb205-netbook

Another day, another netbook, but whilst, on initial inspection, the Toshiba Mini MB205 netbook may resemble so many that have gone before it – Atom powered, 160GB HDD, 10.1″ display – the Mini NB205 distinguishes itself by offering an impressive nine hours of battery endurance and well as coming with Hard Drive Impact Sensor and Sleep-and-Charge functionality.

Toshiba Mini NB205 Netbook Key Features:

  • 10.1-inch diagonal widescreen TruBrite backlit LED display (WSVGA)
  • Windows XP Home operating system
  • Intel Atom N280 processor (1.66GHz)
  • Up to 2GB RAM
  • 160GB HDD
  • 802.11b/g wireless
  • Bluetooth V2.1 + EDR
  • Long-life 6-cell battery delivering up to 9 hours of productivity
  • One USB port with Sleep-and-Charge and two USB 2.0 ports
  • Built-in Webcam, speaker and microphone
  • Memory Card Reader Slot
  • Security Lock Slot

Admittedly the Toshiba Mini MB205 netbook is nothing to get especially excited about but if you’re looking for a netbook with extended battery life, and the MSI Wind U115 for some reason (can’t think why) doesn’t quite do it for you, the Mini MB205 could be worth further consideration.

The Toshiba Mini MB205 netbook is scheduled to hit the US from June with pricing starting from around $350.
