Sony Ericsson W995a US Release & Pricing Official

Sony Ericsson have now officially confirmed that their flagship W995a Walkman phone is due to hit the US this Summer but, as no US carrier appears, at this time at least, to be interested in carrying the W995a it’ll merely be offered, unlocked, via Sony Style’s online portal – though at a somewhat steep price that’ll undoubtedly see many a prospective purchaser decide either to look elsewhere or to hold out till the price takes a dive.

For those unfamiliar with what the Sony Ericsson W995a Walkman phone brings to the table, here’s the low-down:

The Sony Ericsson W995a Walkman phone is set to become available in the US from around 29th June and can be pre-ordered from Sony Style now for just shy of $600.
