OCZ intros 3.5-inch Colossus SSD

For those that don’t like 2.5-inch drives anymore and have a lot of money to burn, today the guys at OCZ have just announced their beefier 3.5-inch Colossus SSD at Computex in Taiwan. The solid state drives feature a SATA 3.0 Gbps interface, two Indilinx Barefoot SSD controllers and one JMicron RAID controller that helps it move data at 265 MB/s for both read and write, and to pair two drives together in a RAID 0 stripe.
Available in 500GB and 1TB sizes, the drives are expected to reach store shelves in a couple of months. And although OCZ haven’t released any price for its new 3.5-inch Colossus SSDs we can already imagine it’s going to be extremely spicy Should we consider selling body parts to afford one of these?
