Samsung Pixon12 M8910 Camera Phone

Samsung have officially launched their new Pixon phone, specifically the Pixon12 M8910 Camera Phone, which sports both a 3.1″ AMOLED touchscreen display and 12 megapixel resolution camera which, apart from offering 12MP stills boasts 720 x 480 resolution video capture capabilities at 30fps.

The Samsung Pixon12 M8910, which comes with 150MB of onboard storage capacity that can be supplemented thanks to a built-in microSD card slot, offers up GPS, one-touch camera access, Xenon flash, autofocus complete with AF tracking – which allows the camera focus on and track the desired point of interest – as well as Smart Auto which works to ensure that the camera’s scene modes are selected automatically according to what’s framed in order to offer optimal captures. Additionally Samsung’s press release underpins the Pixon12 M8910′s ability to upload captured images/video to social networking sites with the minimum of fuss (YouTube, Facebook, Flickr, MySpace, et al).
Samsung have confirmed that the Pixon12 M8910 Camera Phone, which additionally comes with FM tuner complete with RDS, will roll out across Europe from June with further international rollouts following from August, however, as at the time of writing they have not offered any unit pricing information.
