Ford is bringing the new Fiesta (its small European car) stateside, next summer. But before that, a supercharged new Ford Fiesta Rallycross Car will make its debut on July 19th at the 87th edition of the annual Pike’s Peak International Hill Climb in Colorado.

We’re not going to get into details regarding the race, but what makes the things interesting in here, this amazing beast is powered by a high performance 2.0-liter Duratec engine that outputs more than (hold your breath) 800 horsepower.

Based on the stock model but outfitted with an all-wheel drive transmission and an unique Rallycross sports suspension to manage the difficult terrain, the new Fiesta Rallycross is definitely mental. We’d sure love to get behind the wheel for a pure shot of adrenaline …
